I didn't start my career in a corporate boardroom, and I didn't learn the construction business by reading a spreadsheet. For over 20 years, my life has been defined by the HVAC and mechanical construction industry. I know firsthand the blood, sweat, and sheer grit it takes to build, operate, and optimize a trade business because I have actually lived it.

Today, as a Business Advisor at EDGE Business Advisors, I leverage my decades of hands-on operational and financial experience to help construction and trade business owners protect their life's work, maximize their company's value, and execute a highly profitable exit.

Throughout my career, I specialized in project management for large-scale commercial and industrial projects, where I spent countless hours coordinating labor, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure complex installations were delivered on time and within budget. I have worked as a Senior Mechanical Designer, producing highly detailed construction drawings using Revit, Fabrication Parts, and Navisworks. I have sat in the interdisciplinary clash-detection meetings with general contractors and trade partners to resolve design conflicts before they became expensive field problems.

Furthermore, I know exactly what it takes to win profitable work. As an estimator, I spent years developing highly accurate cost models for heavy scopes using FastPIPE to support strategic bidding and strict margin control.

Because I have worked in these crucial roles, I know exactly what a well-oiled construction machine looks like. When we evaluate your business, I know how to identify your operational strengths and translate them into maximum value for a prospective buyer.

Beyond my decades in mechanical construction, I also bring a deep understanding of what it takes to sit in the owner's chair.

I own and manage multiple single-family and multifamily properties, as well as several real estate investment entities, a marketing and construction firm, and family trusts. I have successfully acquired distressed residential assets, executed aggressive value-add strategies, and repositioned properties for both sale and long-term rental. This required sourcing alternative financing, managing complex budgets and timelines, and overseeing construction crews from acquisition all the way through to stabilization.

Because of this background, I possess a first-hand understanding of ownership structures, risk management, and value creation. I know how buyers and investors think, what terrifies them, and what makes them willing to pay top dollar for an asset.
