Associate Business Advisor  •  Business Broker

The Associate Business Advisor is an entry-level sales and support role designed for professionals launching a career in business brokerage and M&A advisory. Associates work closely with a Director and Buyer Coordinator to support valuation, marketing, and client service efforts. You’ll gain hands-on experience with real deals while building foundational sales and advisory skills.

This is a commission-only, independent contractor (1099) position, ideal for individuals looking to build their own income-generating practice in a high-growth industry.

  • Assist with outbound prospecting, business development, and follow-up
  • Support financial reviews, valuations, and pricing models
  • Help draft CIMs and listing marketing packages
  • Participate in client meetings, buyer interactions, and deal strategy
  • Manage CRM updates and internal communication
  • Learn from Buyer Coordinators how to screen and qualify buyer leads
  • Collaborate with Directors on active listings and personal development
  • Promotion to Business Advisor typically occurs within 12–18 months
  • Learn how to manage clients, close deals, and originate new listings
  • Sales curiosity and follow-up discipline
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Time management, CRM, and organizational skills
  • Interest in entrepreneurship, financial analysis, and business operations
  • 0–2 years of experience in business, sales, or finance
  • Real Estate License preferred (required within 6 months of onboarding)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow
Compensation Structure
