Business Advisor • Business Broker
The Business Advisor is a licensed, client-facing sales professional responsible for sourcing new listings, managing client relationships, and closing business sale transactions. This role is ideal for entrepreneurial professionals who enjoy building relationships, solving complex problems, and guiding small business owners through life-changing transitions.
This is a commission-only, independent contractor (1099) position that rewards strong prospecting, sales follow-up, and advisory execution.
- Generate new seller leads and secure listing engagements
- Conduct financial analysis and valuations for small business clients
- Write CIMs and marketing materials for active listings
- Collaborate with Buyer Coordinators to manage buyer inquiries
- Negotiate terms, manage diligence, and close deals
- Work closely with a Director for coaching and performance improvement
- 10–15 listings under $1M in asking price
- 2–4 listings between $1M–$4M
- $250,000+ in annual fee income from closed transactions
- Prospecting, follow-up, and lead conversion
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Business development and client relationship management
- Financial literacy and valuation understanding
- CRM, time management, and multi-project coordination
- 2+ years in business brokerage, commercial real estate, or advisory sales
- Active Real Estate License in state of operation
- Demonstrated ability to manage deals and win business
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Compensation Structure
- 1099 commission-only role
- Advisors earn a percentage of all success fees on closed transactions
- Full platform support allows Advisors to focus on revenue-generating work
- Strong performers can consistently earn $250K+ per year
